Beginnings Starts Wednesday, April 23

How do I talk to God? What is God’s plan for me? Why would I want to belong to a club that would have me as a member?
Many of us have questions about our faith. Beginnings provides an opportunity for each of us to explore and discuss our basic beliefs as Christians. Starting on Wednesday, April 23, as part of Wednesday Connect, Kelly Willis leads weekly Beginnings sessions that include a presentation about basic Christian beliefs, discussion and a free meal. Ideal for anyone who wants to learn more about the Christian faith. It’s also a wonderful opportunity to make new friends in an intimate setting. If interested, please contact the church office 453-4206 or send a message to office@hydeparkmethodist.org.
Disciple Bible Study Class Coming Soon!

Back by popular demand! Starting on April 20th, Hyde Park UMC will begin an 8-week Bible study on Sunday evenings called “Invitation to the Old Testament.” Led by Paul Dubois, this course is derived from 34-week Disciple I study that has been taught at Hyde Park UMC for the past several years. If you have always wanted to take Disciple I but felt the time commitment was too long, this is the course for you. The class will run 5-7 p.m. Sundays. The fee is $15, which covers the cost of your workbook and supplies. Scholarships are available. If interested, please email office@hydeparkmethodist.org or call the church office at 453-4206 by Monday, April 7.
